What was important to you when thinking about your next career move?

Switching from a fully remote setup, I wanted a mix of in-office and remote work to refresh my environment. I sought a career change that promised growth and thrived in collaborative environments that nurture both personal and professional development.

Were you actively looking for a new opportunity before working with Monday?

I explored other opportunities but wasn't in a rush. I wanted my next move to feel right and align with my long term goals.

What was your experience like working with Monday? And was this your first time working with a recruiter?

Yes, this was my first experience working with a recruiter. While I’d received LinkedIn inquiries before, this was the first time I took the plunge. Monday Talent exceeded my expectations. The recruiters genuinely listened to my desires and non-negotiables, guiding me to a place where I feel both safe and supported. Their consistent check-ins and personalized approach were exceptional. I even encourage my friends to reach out to Monday Talent because they excel at finding the perfect career match.

What do you feel were the areas that Monday supported you the most during the whole recruiting process?

It wasn’t just one area, Monday Talent’s support was holistic. Carly’s transparency about the company’s benefits and trade-offs was invaluable. She provided insightful perspectives that helped me make informed decisions. Throughout the entire interview process, Monday Talent’s attentiveness and dedication at every stage made a significant difference.

What are you excited about in your new role?

I’m excited to work with diverse clients in the travel and hospitality industry. This role will allow me to embrace my strengths while also learning new skills that will make me a more well-rounded publicist. I'm particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to bridge the gap and create opportunities for Black women who are looking to work in this field.
