What We Wear to Work (From Home)
A peak inside how our team stays comfortable and motivated while working remotely, all while showing their individuality.
Miller, Operations Director
I love anything comfy (especially after being inside the crib for the past two years) so a Nike sweatsuit is always my go-to. Whenever I step out to grab lunch thankfully it’s still chilly enough in NYC for a light trench situation. I like to mix patterns and colors so one of my many head wraps always make the cut. Oh can’t forget my Henry mask lol.

When I am working- comfort is key! If I am not comfortable, I will not be able to focus and get work done. Usually, it is some variation of leggings and a sweatshirt, other times it is a matching sweatsuit. As long as it is comfortable, I will wear it. Also no matter what, warm socks are a MUST. I run cold so I need to have some warm socks (sometimes even a blanket) to stay warm and productive during the day!

I wear sweats and some kicks every day. I like to be comfortable but also add some drip to it whenever I can in this remote world we work in. It makes me feel confident because I am comfortable but also at the same time allows me to be myself which in my opinion is the best of both worlds!

During the course of the pandemic, the only type of clothing I purchased was athleisure (I'm definitely paying the price for it now that I'm no longer confined to my apartment), so my go-to work from home outfit is a matching sweat set. They're incredibly comfortable and make taking calls from my desk all day much more bearable. I also have a bad habit of only wearing all-black outfits whenever I leave my apartment, so I take full advantage of wearing bright, bold (even tie-dye) colored outfits when I'm in the safety of my own home. My slide slippers (gifted to me during a Monday Talent gift exchange!) complete the look.
Jamie Mclaughlin, CEO
For some reason, I have developed a robe obsession, much to the derision of the Monday team. My latest is the most lowkey and unstated - a custom embroidered 'I love Baroque' bathroom robe from Versace. Even the name screams subtlety. I am also rarely out of my Monday hoodie, nor my Monday socks. The only thing I have more of than robes is: Monday water bottles - which completes the look.
Aziza, Talent Consultant
love to wear a comfy set, especially if it's matching and velour. I work best when I'm comfortable and feel like myself. Of course, I keep my water bottle on hand for hydration and good skin! And there's no way you’ll catch me wearing socks, you'll always find me barefoot or in slippers. Comfy is the way to go.
Ruby, Talent Manager
Most days I am in activewear tights or bike shorts paired with my favorite jumper or plain black t-shirt! I wear this every day because I am so comfortable and is one of the only outfits I feel relaxed in 8hours +, a day. My feet are usually out of sight out of mind, (from zoom video calls at least), but I am usually in my slippers or comfy sandals. This outfit, with my hair pulled back is what I feel most myself in and enables seamless rotation from work stations (ie. the couch, office, and kitchen bench) when working from home!
Cecelia, Creative and Communications Manager
I wear a matching workout set or sweat set probably every day. I know that's basic- sue me. I feel powerful, put together, and most importantly comfortable. Also, no matter what, my apartment stays at a steady 67 degrees, so short sleeve anything is not really an option. To make matters worse I hate socks, so I will not be wearing socks around my apartment only my trusty 5-year-old Ugg slippers. This is the only outfit I can sit in when I'm in front of a computer all day and feel like myself.
Jen, Talent Manager
On any given work day, you can find me in a nice sweater or blouse on the top (depending on the temp), with pajama pants and slippers on the bottom. I tend to sit really weird in my chair, whether it’s feet up and knees to my chest, or even sitting criss-cross applesauce, and let’s be real… can’t quite do that comfortably in tight slacks or a dress. I also like to move over to my work bike (thanks mom) for at least 30-45 minutes per day, and can do so comfortably in my fancy work attire ;) Comfort is KEY to me these days
Carly, COO and Founder
My apartment is always a perfect 68 degrees (Con Ed loves me!), so no matter the time of year, you can always find me in pants and long sleeves when I'm working from home. Whether it's leggings or sweats, sweater or sweatshirt, comfy chic is always my go-to!

Whether you like her or not, Kim K makes the best loungewear known to man. I don’t think it comes as a surprise to anyone at Monday that I live in Skims based on my constant Kardashian gossip in Slack. I’m all about comfort while working from home and this outfit truly does the lord’s work for me. I feel super cozy while looking semi put-together on the top, making it the perfect fit for working at home!
